Here’s a list of some of our most frequently asked questions here at TopGear Karting, we hope it helps!

What’s the minimum age and height?

The minimum age for our track is 8 years and all drivers must be 4ft 2inches and over. This is to ensure that drivers are able to operate the kart safely. If your child is close to the height limit, we highly recommend measuring them before booking your karting session. If a driver goes not meet our height or age requirements, they will not be allowed to use any of our go-karts.

Those on the smaller side (4ft 2in- 4ft 7in) may be given a junior kart, however this is dependent on build, strength and experience. For example if a driver is 4ft 8in but small in build they may also be put into a junior kart, our marshals will determine what is both the best and safest option.

Is there a maximum height and weight?

We have no maximum height or weight limit, everyone over 4ft 2inches is welcome to drive.

Is the track indoor or outdoor?

Our track is completely indoor so no need to worry about the weather, come rain or shine we’ll be open.

Our track is 200m long with an average lap time of around 20 seconds, please note this is dependent on driver experience.
